Situated just 225 kilometres northeast of Edmonton is a little piece of paradise.  The Lac La Biche Region is the ideal summer getaway destination, whether you're looking for adventure or just looking to enjoy a relaxing day in the sun. With more than 150 lakes in the area, you can spend the day fishing, travelling along Alberta's only back-country canoe circuit or soaking up some rays on the area's many sandy beaches.A trip to Sir Winston Churchill Provincial Park is also a must, with its spectacular beaches, towering trees and scenic vistas.
