Welcome to the Lac La Biche Region
Fun in the summer sun!

Situated just 225 kilometres northeast of Edmonton is a little piece of paradise. The Lac La Biche Region is the ideal summer getaway destination, whether you're looking for adventure or just looking to enjoy a relaxing day in the sun. With more than 150 lakes in the area, you can spend the day fishing, travelling along Alberta's only back-country canoe circuit or soaking up some rays on the area's many sandy beaches.A trip to Sir Winston Churchill Provincial Park is also a must, with its spectacular beaches, towering trees and scenic vistas. But it's not all about the trails, trees and sand. The Lac La Biche Region also offers visitors the chance to explore some of Western Canada's oldest history, built on generations of multicultural influence. Check this Calgary Herald story out for more.
As you can tell, Lac La Biche, Plamondon and the surrounding Lac La Biche County are steeped with interesting history, scenic beauty and rich cultural diversity. So please, come and check it out.
