Boat Launches

Boating and Watersports

There are 152 lakes within Lac La Biche County, and many of them are accessible for boating. Lac La Biche Lake and Beaver Lake are the largest bodies of water and the closest ones to urban centres. Speed across the open water in a powerboat this summer, or enjoy a relaxing paddle on your way to getting that perfect picture of a pelican.

Boaters are reminded to help prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species by cleaning, draining and drying their watercraft after each use.
